Job Summary



We are looking for dynamic, fast learner to join our team of Product Specialists. You will have a strong background in the fundamentals of financial accounting and a desire to grow that knowledge and put it into practice in the fund management industry. You will work closely with the rest of the Product Specialist team and with clients as your knowledge and product experience grows. You will be motivated to learn new skills and technology, and motivated to help our clients achieve the best possible outcomes for their business.


This position can currently be worked remotely from any US city where we have an office: Chicago, San Diego, Miami, New York City, or Boston area.


Responsibilities





  • Configure product to meet business requirements

  • Understand the functional impact of various configuration options and offer recommendations

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Technical Solutions

  • Provide product demonstrations as needed (both internally and externally)

  • Assist with client user Training

  • Build product knowledge through training, self-directed research and testing, and working with senior team members

  • Identify new market opportunities and communicate this information to the Product team.


Requirements

  • An accounting degree from a 4-year university (preferred)

  • Some experience around financial software / trading technology / trading systems / OMS / PMS (preferred)

  • Desire to learn new skills, technology platforms and further accounting knowledge

  • Proficient in MS Excel

  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and be adept at listening and soliciting feedback

  • Detail-oriented & strong work ethic

  • Someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and can successfully manage multiple competing priorities

  • Project management / implementation / business analysis / system delivery experience with external facing clients for projects of a material size and duration


Education/Certifications





  • A degree from a 4 year university preferred
