DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Coordinator will assist the New Jersey Operation with offices in Hamilton and Newark with their marketing, media and proposal needs for multiple disciplines including Roadways, Bridges, Planning, Water, etc. This position will require close coordination with the Office Executives, Department Managers, and technical staff to identify, track and execute marketing strategies.


  • Develop and implement techniques to optimize marketing communication internally and externally to the New Jersey Engineering/Construction/Architecture industry

  • Writing, editing and quality review of marketing and business development materials and support of proposal development

  • Play an integral part in preparation of NJDOT, NJTA, NJ Transit, PANYNJ, MPO's and local municipalities and county proposals, qualifications submittals, and interview presentations

  • Assist with the coordination of professional organizations including award applications, sponsorships, information, attendance, and marketing material

  • Assist technical staff with preparing industry and client facing material

  • Track opportunities, assist and administrate sales funnel

  • Organize past project information for use in targeting future pursuits

  • Facilitate tracking strategic marketing plans and goal

  • Ability to be a team player and assist when necessary to format documents and presentations

  • Creativity with the ability to think out of the box and present new ideas to team members

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3 - 8 years of related experience

  • Familiarity with reviewing solicitations (RFP, RFQ, RFI) and procurement processes is desirable

  • Knowledge of providing proposal and marketing support in the Engineering/Construction/Architecture industry is preferred

  • Familiarity with standard government forms (e.g., SF330) is desirable

  • Intermediate to expert skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Intermediate skills with Adobe Creative Suite especially InDesign

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred

  • Ability to manage and prioritize project assignments to meet competing deadlines

  • Attention to detail and effective decision making, organization, and editing skills

  • Good interpersonal, communication, and conceptual thinking skills

  • Work independently and within a team setting to support proposal related projects and assignments

  • Ability to assist in developing strategic approaches and concepts

  • Availability to occasionally travel to other local offices
