SUMMARY


  • Insure we get a quality bag of socks packaged and sealed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Pair Socks

  • Fold, bag and/or band according to directions OIS

  • Ensure packaging is correct (bags or bands)

  • Inspect socks as they are being paired and folded

  • Keep lines running effectively and efficiently

  • Meet quality and production expectations

  • Inform supervisor of quality issues

  • Helps put stickers on bags / bands

  • Places band around socks

  • Applies stickers to bags

  • Other duties assigned by management are a part of this job description

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE


  • Previous textile experience helpful but not required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY


  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to maintain fast paced production work.

  • Ability to read a basic production ticket, including batch numbers, dates, etc.

  • Ability to follow simple spoken commands in English.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee:


  • Requires the ability to frequently stand for a full shift, approximately 12 hours per day.

  • Requires the ability to frequently visually inspect each sock for defects.
