The Videographer/ Editor assists with shooting, editing, and distributing video. Video projects will range from multiple camera shoots in a studio setting to lecture style to individualized screen cast video products. Responsible for assuring videos meet ADA requirements and are archived for institutional knowledge. Will work on a team developing high quality videos and media products to engage learners.

Required Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education/job related experience, AND:

• 12-24 months video production

Skills:

• Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines


• Able to communicate well and build rapport quickly with students, faculty and staff


• Able to work well with interdepartmental teams and initiatives


• Strong knowledge of multi media industry, camera equipment, and best practices


• Proficient using online, learning management systems, like Canvas


• Knowledge and experience with various video and audio formats and technologies


• Knowledge of 2D visual effects using motion graphics software such as After Effects


• Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premier

Advertised Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to engage in repetitive motions, communicate effectively, hear, see, including color, depth perception and clarity and Lift 50 lbs.

Departmental Preferences:

• Knowledge of ADA compliance and captioning requirements for video and multimedia


• Knowledge of new online instructional video platforms and delivery methods


• Understanding of instructional design principles
