Job Description

The Manager of Inside Sales will be responsible for overseeing the Prop Tech inside sales team in the Lehi location. The day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to: monitoring and evaluating team performance; resolving escalated customer calls; creating reports for senior leadership of the Claims Sales team, coordinating with the Pricing, Product, Implementation, Support teams, and Marketing as needed; and occasionally taking calls when phone volumes are high. He/she/they must be able to prioritize and manage time without the need for direct assignment of tasks from a supervisor. This role requires strategic thinking to identify various ways to improve inside of sales revenue and meet annual sales goals.

* Lead team in achieving annual sales goals

* Organize on-going trainings for the inside sales team including, but not limited to, product knowledge, sales techniques and customer service

* Hire and train new employees

* Answer incoming phone calls on an "as-needed" basis

* Resolve escalated calls involving customers with problems or concerns

* Review and support compensation plans and quota assignments

* Approve PTO and other time off requests

* Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports to V.P. of Sales

* Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.

* Manage individual team members

Qualifications

* Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Sales or Sales management

* Work Experience: Three years' experience managing a team is helpful

* Computer Skills: Oracle Financials, MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint

* Sales Experience: Excellent knowledge of Inside Sales processes and procedures

* Product Knowledge: In depth knowledge of Xactware/Verisk products and services
