The Business Analyst works closely with the Regional Management team, Sales Operations, IT, Aftersales, Marketing and Center Development in order to prepare reports, analyze data, and assist with dealer presentations for the assigned C4-US Region.

Key responsibilities:


  • Research, data mine, prepare and analyze reports for RVP, RSMM, RAM, CDM, AMs. 

  • Examples of Reports generated:  Dealer profitability, Market Share, Competitive Analyses, Retail Sales Pace, Inventory, AVP/Email Capture, Digital Experience Update, Digital tools/Virtual Showroom usage, Loaner Fleet, New Car/CPO/non-MACO, Three Level Target updates, Aftersales Reporting, TMSi Training Grids and Appeals, NPS/VoC, Lease Replacement Rate, other ad hoc reports as needed to support current business needs.

  • Research and prepare presentations for Dealer Business Reviews, MACO meetings, Franchise Committee meetings, Sales Manager Conferences, Marketing Conferences and assist in preparation for Market Reviews/Granular Performance Management Working Sessions as needed.

  • Coordinate and ensure all presentations and related materials are compliant with the latest BMW Corporate Identity standards

  • Prepare tracking reports for management and field team.

  • Attend local Market and Business review meetings, accompany field/regional management on dealer visits when necessary.

  • Ad hoc projects/performs other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance or Marketing is preferred or equivalent work experience.

  • 1-3 years of experience.  BMW policies and procedures, Center Operations.  Must be able to work with SAP IFT, Cognos, Hyperion Web Analyzer, PRIMA and other BMW mainframe functions. Working knowledge of Center financial reporting systems, statements, warranty procedures, and management structure.  Dexterity in/willingness to learn other systems such as FMS, Tableau, SMART, & Velocity.

  • Demonstrated prior work experience being responsible for at least one medium sized test project

  • Ability to work independently and effectively with little supervision in a global team environment.
