This position will work with pricing leadership to implement the pricing strategy across ASD channels and analyze the effectiveness of price changes with various customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze price promotions and discounts related to sales.
Conduct initial review of pricing requests from sales organization to ensure they are complete and practical.
Perform analysis to identify tactical price effectiveness and track performance variance.
Report on pricing performance across brands, products, regions, and accounts to gain insights into pricing and promotional effectiveness.
Enter and maintain accurate pricing discounts in legacy pricing systems.
Track competitive prices by product and region. Calculate price differences between Overhead Door products and its competitors.
Ensure that salespeople deliver competitive bidding information to the pricing department when they can capture it.
Prepare timely and accurate pricing reports.
Update system pricing to support national price increases.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in an analytical role that requires communication with internal departments and external customers in resolving issues.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Solid analytical skills with ability to manage and analyze large amounts of data.
Good communications skills
Strong MS Excel skills, knowledge of VBA is a plus
Experience working with ERP systems is a plus
Education:
BA/BS in finance, accounting, economics, science, math, or marketing analytics or 5+ years of consistent tenure in a financial position.
