Business Intelligence - Lead Sales Analyst at Equifax Inc.

Job Description:

As part of the newly created sales enablement function this position serves to drive analytical support for multiple sales verticals within Equifax Workforce Solutions, Verification Services business unit.  The individual will be responsible for data and insights (quantitative and qualitative) to improve decision making, identify revenue opportunities, and drive a purposeful approach to sales and sales ops activities. Including but not limited to all phases of the sales cycle, triangulation of customer, Equifax and industry data, operational excellence, etc. In addition, the individual will build relationships and liaison with Sales Management, finance, marketing and various parts of the business. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, analytical, data-focused, and inspired to provide insights into how to successfully meet existing and future revenue targets. The right candidate must be curious to explore in detail both the questions presented and the results derived from the data.

What You’ll Do 


  • Coach and mentor junior analysts, organize and prioritize work across the portfolio and analysts


  • Own the production of analytical models, including quantitative and qualitative analytics across verticals to deliver in-depth assessments of customer and vertical opportunities and assist in the development of recommendations for action for Verification Services


  • Develop, drive, and contribute to the execution of various analytical projects while working across other data focused business units and COEs to ensure data quality and alignment to standards


  • Create business intelligence reporting, dashboards and data visualizations that help drive strategic decision making, top line revenue growth, efficiencies within the sales process, etc.


  • Create ad-hoc reports, identify key learnings, and draw conclusions based on analysis and interpretation of data


Qualifications 


  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline and/or directly, related equivalent experience required, advanced degree preferred 


  • Minimum of 7 -10  years of analytical/related experience preferably supporting a multi-channel sales organization, experience with macro-level economic data preferred


  • 7+ years of experience communicating findings in a simple and/or visually simple way to enable others to absorb the data presented and tell a story


  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with business intelligence and analytics including extraction, modeling, presentation and visualization and experience with SQL, SAS, Tableau, Excel, and Salesforce


  • 7+ years of experience with analytical manipulation and interpretation of large databases, multiple disparate data sources, structured and unstructured data, etc.
