Job Summary


We are building a high-performing team to drive growth at NetApp and are looking for a Senior Analyst to join the Go-To-Market Strategy & Effectiveness team. Our team brings understanding and predictability to NetApp's top line and works together with our key business partners to predict and improve the growth of the Cloud Business. You will have the opportunity to support all Cloud products and provide enhanced reporting and modeling, while participating as a subject matter expert on strategic GTM analysis.

* Partner with Finance, Corporate Strategy and Sales Operations teams to research, analyze, model NetApp's commercial GTM efforts for Cloud. Develop detailed models, including impact and scenario analysis, for decision making in a fast-paced, constantly-changing environment.

* Build and manage top line projections with field leadership, analyze & track performance, understand deviations from actuals/targets to drive strategy and operational rigor.

* Work closely with Sales and BU leadership to identify important questions and answer them with data.

* Gain deep knowledge and understanding of NetApp's business performance across geographies and product lines. Become embedded with business partners, establishing trust and gaining an understanding of relevant business drivers.

* Identify and quantify key risks and opportunities based on your understanding of the business and daily visibility to the data.

* Conduct ad-hoc reporting for the Sales teams to help provide insight to Finance, Operations, and Product teams within broader NetApp.

* Support special projects to continuously improve, automate, and recommend ideas for scaling forecasting and reporting tools, processes, and methodologies in collaboration with Finance and Sales Operations teams.


Job Requirements


* A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Science, or other relevant field

* At least 4+ years of financial modeling experience in a business insights / analytics roles, financial reporting or sales operations role at a high-growth company

* A proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners. You are seen as a trusted advisor.

* An enthusiastic "roll up your sleeves and dive into the weeds" personality.

* The ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment.

* A strong attention to detail with the ability to distill and synthesize key points for stakeholders at different levels across the organization.

* Experience in developing scalable reporting

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Strong design skills in PowerPoint and presentation skills, with comfort speaking in a virtual environment

* Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills are a must.

* Experience within the IT Infrastructure, Cloud, or SaaS verticals a plus

* Comfortable working across multiple time zones and extended hours as needed
