Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Services, this will be an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Manager with experience in busy acute-care environments. As a point of contact for pharmacy operations, you will interact with pharmacy staff from multiple facilities and specialties. Cross-discipline relationship building will also play a large part in your success, as many of your stakeholders Physicians, Registered Nurses, and other professional staff.

As a licensed and practicing pharmacist, you will be expected to offer clinical guidance, expertise, and advice when necessary. Beyond this, many of the Pharmacy Business Office Manager’s primary duties will be administrative in nature. A preliminary list of duties for the Manager Pharmacy Business Office includes the following: 

• 340B Drug Pricing Program Oversight: Purchasing Management, Split-Billing Software Administration, Relations with the Office of Pharmacy Affairs (OPA)


• Purchasing Contract Management: Develop, negotiate, and maintain contract database and relationships


• Inventory Management: Develop and maintain control procedures for determination of needs, item selection, procurement, safe handling, storage, and distribution of pharmaceuticals in alignment with financial and CSA best practices


• Vendor Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale, federal, and private drug vendors. Align vendor control environments with internal frameworks.
