The Johns Hopkins Hospital - Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU) Zayed 10 West is a 32 bed adult inpatient surgical unit. The unit offers 3 levels of care: floor, telemetry, and intermediate levels of care for a variety acute cardiac, vascular, and other surgical patients requiring cardiac monitoring. Care and services provided: coronary artery bypass, Heartmate II or III & Heartware mechanical circulatory support devices, valve replacement or repairs, Type A & B aortic dissections, fem-pop bypass, scalenectomy, TAVR, heart or lung transplantation. During the week there is an experienced resource nurse available to assist with admissions/discharges, transport monitoring, and emergencies.
Shifts: 12 hour day / night rotating; 36 or 40 hours per week
