About the Role

You'll provide accurate and timely item data file processing and transmission for mainframe account posting to all BOKF Affiliates' commercial, retail and correspondent customer accounts. Files average $930 million+ per month. Transmission takes place through a wide variety of products and applications, including but not limited to: remote capture deposit (commercial, ATM and consumer mobile), third-party depository services, wholesale and retail remittance, and controlled disbursement. Your excellent knowledge of Check 21 policies and procedures and a strong understanding of the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley and check, MICR, and image requirements will set you up for success.

What You Can Expect

You'll also provide telephone support assistance to commercial and consumer customer service representatives, branch personnel, and other internal BOKF department personnel. You may also provide production guidance in the absence of the area's Team Lead. Your percentage of time spent of duties will vary by your location. You'll assist with processing and monitoring the daily receipt of 300-500 incoming electronic image files in base software application (VisionIP), analyze items and images to correct MICR line data and resolve out of balance conditions created at the point of file origination. You'll handle escalations and resolves complex outages.

How You'll Spend Your Time


  • You'll use various item imaging equipment, perform check or deposit processing and electronic item capture/balancing, and ensure image quality meets regulatory standards and industry requirements for electronic check exchange.

  • You'll extract, balance, and execute various transmissions of 9,000,000 items per month to the BOKF mainframe processor, internal departments, and/or customers, following checks and balances to ensure files processed in VisionIP are received in the mainframe for posting and controls are followed to ensure regulatory compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.

  • You'll perform clerical duties including, but not limited to, pulling non-conforming image originals, truncation of paper items according to established schedule/rotation, and volume tracking.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a high school education and 5+ years of related experience in bank operations or accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
