RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Jersey City, NJ. Partner with Bankers & Engineering to roll out enterprise applications and analytics reports in response to changing business requirements and processes. Deployment and infrastructure management of on-prem/cloud tech stack. Design and implement infrastructure changes by performing various project/product owner responsibilities, such as determining operational feasibility, documenting and demonstrating solutions, conducting system analysis and recommending improvements to policies and procedures, and determining and enforcing software development standards. Define and drive business intelligence (BI) product strategy and roadmap for upgrades, enhancements and successful engagement with vendors. Work with users to resolve production support related issues with regard to applications built in the technologies listed above. Stay up-to-date with latest in business intelligence technology and drive adoption as deemed fit for the organization. Stay current with databases, BI technologies, SQL, Python and the Firm's proprietary languages. Drive the risk posture of tech risk programs in the IBD division and drive resolution by timely escalation. Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and grow the engineering team by interviewing, recruiting and hiring. Provide regular updates to divisional portfolio leadership and senior leadership. Liaise with risk partners across various divisions and enterprise functions to include tech risk management. Serve as central point of contact for IBD engineering executives into Engineering Risk Committee priorities. Must be willing to work with proprietary technologies. No knowledge of proprietary technologies is required pre-hire.
Job Requirements: Master's (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology and Management or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor's (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology and Management or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Using Business intelligence tools and applications including Tableau and Qlikview; performing technical risk analysis and making complex business and risk trade-off recommendations and decisions using risk methodologies including IM and IP, and Walt and using tools such as Archer and DRC; ensuring information security, privacy frameworks and compliance requirements conform to the applicable financial controls and regulations for financial institutions including OCC and FINRA; creating deployment scripts, shell scripts, PowerShell scripts and batch scripts for automation of Intelligence platforms; running multiple programs related to technical implementation, including planning, prioritization, tracking, and management reporting of the status; working in multiple security domain areas including applications, systems and network security, Authentication (IAM/PAM), Data Loss Prevention, vulnerability management and security protocols; communicating and influencing stakeholders to help them understand and adequately mitigate risks in their domains; and using domains of CISSP/CCSP for onboarding of new applications for on-premise and cloud stack.
