Job Description

We are currently looking for a Senior Product Owner to support the PI/SIU delivery team in delivering analytics and insight specifically for the Special Investigation Unit. We require someone that is well versed in that space and has the ability to deliver work products to this particular business unit.

Owns the team/sprint backlog and sets priorities to deliver value based on customer roadmap and features for complex, higher value, and/or multiple products. Works with minimal oversight.


  • Work with product manager to ensure customer desires and business priorities are effectively communicated and reflected in the product backlog.

  • Enable streamlined execution of product priorities by collaborating with stakeholders and team members to define user stories and owning team/sprint backlog in collaboration with delivery teams.

  • Utilize Product Manager & stakeholder input to map the product vision to user stories.

  • Act as liaison between the Special Investigations Unit and the Payment Integrity/SIU delivery team representing the expectations of all interested stakeholder segments.

  • Mentors and coaches other staff.

Hiring Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field and 5 years experience in a similar role (e.g. Project Manager, Scrum Master, Business Analyst, etc.)

  • In lieu of degree, 7 years of experience as listed above.

  • Must have 3 or more years' experience in Healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse analytics such as (but not limited to) identification, investigation, validation, and FWA operations.

  • Product Owner certification required
