Position Description



  • Inventory Associates are required to have a strong knowledge of inventory control, material handling and be familiar with kitting materials for production orders.

  • Stockroom Inventory Associates will maintain the warehouse inventory and organization.

  • Will be responsible for cycle counting inventory within the ERP system and reconciling with purchasing when there are variances outside objectives



  • Maintaining the KAN BAN General Use Lab supplies with procurement to ensure ample stock maintained

  • Must have high attention to detail, and be able to read and understand drawings, technical documents

  • Must have computer skills for managing data entry from inventory movements and issues to production

  • This role requires a self-starter, ability to work independently, with attention to detail and good organizational skills.



Position Requirements


Role and Responsibilities:



  • Be committed to following and supporting company safety practices.

  • Documents material movements issuing inventory to production work orders, completing inventory relocations from inspection to primary locations, and completes all applicable forms, reports, logs, and records equipment and batches using GDP practices.

  • Keeps work areas clean and organized, keeping with 5S principles.

  • Contributes to Continuous Improvement efforts; Identify and help implement process, procedure, safety improvements.



  • Complete and maintain training records within expected timelines.

  • Maintain functional understanding of cGMP's and the impact of deviation from controlled processes and/or procedures. Participate in investigations as needed.

  • Maintain inventory; be familiar with Kan Ban, and FIFO. May be required to complete inventory counting, kit pulling, and to handle materials.

  • Perform inventory cycle counts and physicals and act as liaison with purchasing and quality departments to maintain inventory control

  • Back-up for Shipping /Receiving functions



  • Completes other tasks as needed.




Personal Requirements


Qualifications/Experience:



  • High school degree plus 3 years relevant work experience or an Associate or Bachelor degree in relevant field and one (1) year relevant work experience.
