POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The PLM/PDM/CAD Systems Administrator / Developer will collaborate directly with department managers in developing workflow processes to help improve departmental efficiencies and communications utilizing the Autodesk Fusion Lifecycle and Vault platforms. They will also work in support of engineering tools and process automation by collaborating with teams responsible for working with Product Data Management (PDM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and CAD systems. Responsibilities will include developing and testing workflow processes for product development, change management, procurement supply chain and quality management.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Responsible for support of Autodesk Fusion Lifecycle, Autodesk Vault PDM, and Autodesk Inventor CAD software.


• Manage Projects of limited scope with minimal supervision


• Support, enhance, develop CAD/PDM/PLM toolsets and workflows.


• Security administration of new user or group permissions


• Diagnose and solve a range of issues, including, but not limited to software deployment, platform interoperability, PDM and PLM systems, and software performance


• Manage vault configuration (setup, folders, moving/deleting/rollback of vault files)


• Provide suggestions to management to improve overall safety, quality, and day-to-day operations.


• Documentation and standards governance as well as creation of needed SOPs and Guidelines.


• Train other employees in day to day procedures.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University preferred. Engineering degree required;


2. Three (3) years of PDM, PLM and CAD experience;


3. Lean, project management and process improvement knowledge and experience;


4. Prior experience with Autodesk Fusion Lifecycle and Autodesk Vault is desired;


5. Thorough understanding of Product Lifecycle Management;


6. Experience with Autodesk Vault DDM Application;


7. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
