The mission of the Bid Manager is to directly support the business to produce & qualify auditable contract documents & proposal records: - To enable a controlled delivery of services activities in support of the adoption of 3DS Group software - Following 3DS Group finance and ethics rules - Providing protections for 3DS assets - Presenting a professional front to our Customers.

What will your role be?

The WW Bid Management team is currently in the process of transforming our existing business model to onboard multiple internal 3DS Group Brands in order to expand our practice to a Shared Service model. The Bid Management Organization is seeking a Bid Manager (L1) to support the GEO Group Bid Management Team in the transition to a multi-Brand support model for the Shared Services Center-Bid Management (SSC-BM) operations function.

The challenges ahead


  • Daily interface with Proposal Planners from the business.

  • Assessing the accuracy of Proposal classifications in accordance with written procedures.

  • Providing guidance and assistance to Proposal Planners on the following topics for SIMPLE classification Proposals:

    • Implementation methodologies - Implementation tools

    • Governance models - Proposal vehicles

    • Contract vehicles

    • Resource structure & effort estimation

    • Pricing models

    • Services business concepts

    • 3DS Group Services portfolio

    • Access to Proposal development and implementation resources

    • Bid Management principles (3DS Group & Association of Proposal Management Professionals ("APMP"))

    • 3DS Group Bid Management portfolio

    • 3DS Group Proposal management requirements

    • Proposal management tools

    • Proposal prioritization

    • Escalation support



  • Coordination of the end-to-end Bid Management process for SIMPLE classification Proposals in accordance with written procedures.

  • Development of the Proposal management collateral for SIMPLE classification Proposals in accordance with written procedures.

  • Technical Assurance of SIMPLE classification Proposals including:

    • Validation of alignment with 3DS Group Services portfolio

    • Validation of alignment with 3DS Group finance requirements

    • Issue documentation

    • Recommendations for Proposal adjustments

    • Alignment of changes with Proposal Planner, SSC-S and business management



  • Process assurance of Proposal materials and data for SIMPLE classification Proposals in accordance with written procedures.

  • Daily interface with resources from supporting departments (SSC-S, Finance, Operations, etc...).

  • Daily coordination with Bid Management Operations.

  • Production, distribution and management of ORB meeting minutes.

  • Creation & review of standardized work package content.

  • Execution of Bid Management Operations function as required by Department staffing needs.

  • Quantitative and qualitative analysis of data required for internal reporting.

  • Ad hoc report generation as required to support Bid Management organization.

  • Improvement of the 3DS Group Bid Management portfolio.

  • Help standardize and enable the Shared Services Bid Management model across multiple 3DS Group Brands.

  • Create internal documentation and communication material for Bid Management activities.

  • Support the creation and delivery of training materials, as required.

  • Facilitate engagement with internal Customers and partners impacted by the transition to a multi-Brand support model.

  • Support the definition and implementation of a common 3DS Group Bid Management information system.

  • Support the worldwide Bid Management Organization transformation projects.

  • Execute special projects as directed by the worldwide Bid Management Organization.

Your key success factors?


  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 4 to 5 years in a similar role

  • Professional-level position in large, multi-national technology company with fast-paced operations, supporting a diverse set of internal customers and collaborating with a number of different internal support departments across organizations.

  • Experience working in teams orchestrating and executing plans, utilizing available resources, following defined procedures.

  • Previous proposal management or Project Management experience with PMP certification required, Bid Management experience or APMP certification a strong positive.

  • Ability to operate with general direction following defined procedures.

  • Ability to participate within a multi-disciplinary team as well as acting autonomously as appropriate.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to utilize discretionary judgement based on a clear understanding of operating principles when determining fitness for purpose.

  • Good written and verbal communications.

  • Good interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork.

  • Ability to provide status on actions, and estimates to completion.

  • Ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
