Ply Gem,a division of Cornerstone Building Brands, located at130 Red Iron Rd, Rocky Mount, NC is currently looking for a Material Handler to join our team.

The Material Handler is responsible to perform all warehouse activities to ensure daily targets are met or exceeded. Material Handler activities includes, but are not limited to: cleaning warehouse and equipment, loading and unloading trucks, organizing Raw Materials and Finished Goods

Primary / Key Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse


• Responding to calls from the Operations Planner in a timely and professional manner


• Completing pick ticket orders


• Unloading/receiving all deliveries


• Pulling and staging orders for each delivery truck


• Performing rotating loading or unloading duties as assigned on a daily basis


• Providing excellent customer service


• Double checking all loads for accuracy and ensuring that they are thoroughly secured for delivery


• Operating forklifts safely and responsibly


• Treating all customers and coworkers in a helpful and professional manner


• Performing all duties safely


• Assist delivery truck drivers with specific unloading tasks

Specific Qualifications Include:

• Previous warehouse and forklift experience (up to 10.000 lbs) is strongly preferred


• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail


• Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently


• Building material experience is a plus


• Positive attitude and team player
