Reporting to our Associate Vice President of Order Fulfillment and Supply Chain (OFS) Strategy & Transformation, the OFS Strategic Planning Lead will be a key thought partner for the OFS Leadership Team. S/he will combine business acumen, proven manufacturing & supply chain critical thinking and demonstrated expertise in next generation technologies to drive strategy development, digital transformation and key initiatives across our four centers of expertise.

Position Responsibilities

Lead the examination of strategic issues facing the business and provide recommendation on emerging opportunities.

  • Understand drivers of shareholder value and relevant manufacturing & supply chain models, and how to translate these into proposals supporting financial and transformation objectives. Ensure data-driven decision making.
  • Assess, update & drive key elements of OFS next gen roadmap to focus on prioritizing, executing, and managing the groundbreaking change required to meet OFS' near and long term aspirations.
  • Further improve OFS dedication to sustainability through our manufacturing and supply chain practices as well as our people & leadership practices.

Note: this role will be based in one of Agilent's key US manufacturing or supply hubs on the West Coast in CA (e.g., Santa Clara, Folsom, or Carpinteria). Though the position can be worked remotely with a preference in California but not limited to states on the West Coast (CA, AZ, OR, WA, NV)

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Life Sciences field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of (8+) years of progressive responsibility.
  • 4+ years of strategy/transformation experience.
  • Supply chain &/or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with the markets Agilent serves, Agilent products and customers' business needs is desirable.
  • Experience being an integral part of strategy teams and driving strategy insights and roadmaps while managing and delivering consistently on project scope and timeline
  • Proven track record of results using interpersonal, relationship-building skills required to lead multi-cultural and geographically dispersed teams in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.
