The Product Manager; Fleet Software Solutions will have the primary accountability to lead and deliver on the global fleet fuel management software portfolio, local authorization mechanisms, and fleet network enablement and integration. The incumbent will own the product portfolio, associated roadmaps, and business performance of the platform while establishing new business models based on capabilities associated with above-site integrations and API developments.

This role will partner closely with the Engineering product owner for Digital Site Enablement as well as other product managers, specifically for DX Monitor & Wetstock, and Product Marketing. The incumbent is also expected to work with regional and global business owners to assist with the creation of market requirements, delivery schedules, commercial support, growth strategies, and is accountable for product revenue, margin, and business growth year over year.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Product Management; Fleet Solutions, while working collaboratively with broader business leaders.

Key Responsibilities:


    • Defines the product roadmap for the next three to five years with a clear delivery plan to achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP).

    • Manages the revenue / margin for the product portfolio.

    • Creates a strategy for developing and communicating a vision for consolidation and/or management of the portfolio.

    • Is accountable for product portfolio lifecycle from Definition through End-of-Life activities.

    • Develops a close collaboration with the direct system sales force globally including forecasting, win/loss, and competitive analysis.

    • Demonstrates excellence in execution; aligns key stakeholders to decisions, global engineering and Operations, highly collaborative with cross-functional partners and customers; insights driven

    • Develops partnership with the industry leaders to integrate products for end-to-end offerings while assisting to develop a robust marketing plans

    • Establishes relationships with key accounts and market segments while actively seeking VOM and product feedback.

    • Supports the Global Service organization(s) as requested.

    • Responsible for working collaboratively with the other business unit and product owners to develop and deliver end-to-end solutions for our customers.

    • Supports and work closely with the SAAS organization to actively maintain product quality and gross margin


Work experience requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years of product management experience preferably in a software solutions & services industry

  • 5 - 10 years of global fleet market knowledge

  • Demonstrated success in growing market share, developing new products, and creating brand loyalty.

  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional global teams in multiple time zones.

  • Excellent communication skills having a high comfort level interacting with senior management, channel partners and customers; both written and verbal.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills; developing high performing team, cross-functional teams and influencing across hierarchies.

  • Strong business acumen. General management skills in running a brand or product line.

  • Demonstrated project management experience, particularly as it relates to cross-functional coordination and communication.

  • Has a customer driven mindset and aptitude for engineering excellence

  • Have a strong product management background, marketing management and technical background

  • Experience in leading software development with products deployed globally in enterprise SaaS/cloud-based platform environments

  • Strong profitable growth orientation.

  • Strong team player as candidate will work with the entire organization through different procedures and processes.

  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite and Project products.

  • Possess strong financial skills and can apply analytical research to business problems

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (25% - 50%)
