Warehouse workers will unload trucks, transfer and store finished product, assemble boxes and cartons, along with other duties assigned by management. Will also be driving box truck locally, around our campus to deliver product to other buildings, as well as operating a forklift, and loading/unloading freight, packaging product etc. when not operating box truck.
Transfer product from building to building, on our campus.
Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
Unload trucks and store raw materials in designated areas.
Drive forklift and load trucks with finished products in accordance with customer specifications.
Transfer and store finished products to the warehouse by way of company box truck.
Repack damaged containers and keep storage area in proper order.
Assist in inventory of raw material and finished goods.
Keep material segregated by type and color.
Fill customer requisitions and shipment orders.
Assemble boxes and cartons and may hand-pack materials.
May prepare materials for grinding process.
May keep production lines supplied with raw materials.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent not required, but preferred
Forklift experience required
Required:
Basic mathematical skills are required.
Basic computer experience.
Some truck driving experience required
