Reporting directly to the CNO, the Nursing Director of Perioperative  Services will be supported by a fantastic team including an OR Nurse Manager, Nursing Manager PACU, CPAN and CNOR Certified Nurses, and Surgical Services RN Educators who lead the team in perioperative services. This position will be responsible for modeling a patient - first mindset by ensuring optimal patient outcomes, mitigating risk and elevating the overall standard of care by providing professional development opportunities for members of the department.

The Perioperative Services Nurse Director will join a fast paced Perioperative Service line that  offers a diverse selection of procedures including general surgery, neuro surgery, cardiac surgery,orthopedics, pediatric surgery, robotics, surgical oncology, thoracic and advanced wound care services. The Director will oversee a dynamic department of 30+ FTEs that includes 4 ORs, 1 Hybrid Room, 2 Procedure Rooms, and a large Central Sterile Processing Department

The Nurse Director Surgical Services will take on a busy Service Line, overseeing both clinical and administrative excellence. This person will serve as a mentor to the staff, sponsoring training, skills development, and performance improvement. As an administrator, the Director will oversee budget, staffing, and quality assurance initiatives. An ideal candidate for this role, will be able to develop and nurture positive professional relationships both internally and across operational boundaries.
