About This Position

The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for the coordination and completion of all aspects of the onboarding experience for new hires, transitioning employees and their hiring managers. The Onboarding Specialist is the candidate's "go-to" from the moment they are offered a position until their first day of work. They are responsible for the final stage of the recruitment process including extending offers and initiating background checks.

The Onboarding Specialist helps in providing a high-quality candidate experience and ensures both transitioning and newly hired employees have a smooth and consistent shift into their new roles.

What You'll Need

High School or GED required
• 4 Year / Bachelor Degree preferred


• Minimum of three to five years of experience as an Onboarding Specialist, Recruiting Coordinator or in a related HR Role preferred



• Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products including Outlook, Word and Excel




• Excellent verbal and written communication skills




• Previous experience with iCIMS



• Consistently demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.


• Maintain confidentiality around sensitive personal information and act within accordance of HR hiring practices



• Ability to successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) Company or Facility background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screening
