This position serves as a member of the Financial Operations Financial Systems and Analysis team with a specific focus on supporting internal and external customers reporting and data requests by collecting and analyzing requirements and designing reports. Support the report development and scheduling processes while assisting with continuous improvement of data repositories and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the process that documents customer-specific report and data requirements.


• Serve as active team member in the creation and delivery of report(s)


• Collect and analyze requirements from requestors to source data elements, identify
  
  data gaps, and document all requirements as requested


• Review and estimate effort and data required to build reports to meet the needs of
  
  field representatives and customers, gather requirements and estimate effort
  
  required to build reports to meet requestor needs.


• Drive, create and test report design and prototyping, support report testing and
  
  promotion to final stage(s)


• Utilize basic SQL skills to troubleshoot questions or identify issues and corrective
  
  action in reports


• Assist in enhancing current reports to increase usability and performance


• Partner with UniFirst's Financial Operations, Location teams, Information
  
  Technology team in the development of the requested reports

Experience

• 2-3 years plus in a technical analyst role with Financial or Billing emphasis


• Demonstrated experience in report design and hands on skills with mainstream
  
  reporting tool


• Experience writing and testing basic SQL


• Microsoft SQR/SSRS experience is a plus

Education

• 4 year degree with Systems/Technology focus
