Global Intercompany Logistics Planner at Movado Group Inc.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for managing the delivery of global inventory to the right place at the right time for the right reasons. They serve as the single point of contact facilitating information processing between the brands and supply chain. They work with Supply Chain Planning/Scheduling directly to handle issue resolution on the timing of deliveries, relating to them brand decisions and direction.

Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and the Brands to handle issues with the timing of supply, shortages, excess, production timing and / or special deadlines

  • Participate and provide supply intelligence to S&OP Meetings

  • Manage re-deployment of product to other demand plants

  • Manage intercompany returns process

  • Manage early supply deliveries, collaborating closely with the Brands and Supply Chain teams

  • Work closely with Demand Planning counterparts to reflect changes in supply situation properly in the forecast plan

  • Work closely with Brand and Sales teams in communicating significant shortages and how to manage them globally

  • Support Customer Service/Distribution teams to get appropriate product to maximize fill rates globally

  • MRP plan the Mexico plant

  • Analyze expected supply versus demand

  • Work closely with Brands and Supply chain to determine root cause issues regarding supply and how to execute corrective actions (for both shortages and excess)

  • Work closely with global warehouse facilities to analyze pockets of non-sellable inventory to work into sellable status

  • SAP skills required

    • Supply Situation, ATP, Forecast Fulfillment and Stock Availability inquiries

    • Basic understanding of how document dates drive processes and functionality

    • Running reports in BI and conducting analysis



  • Microsoft Office Skills required

    • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook

    • Beginner skills in Microsoft Word

    • Expert skills in Microsoft Excel



Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience in a similar position

  • College / University degree required or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge supply and demand principles

  • Knowledge of brands / product lines

  • Knowledge of MRP/procurement process

  • Knowledge of forecast and demand planning process

  • Knowledge of Order to Cash process

  • Knowledge of global intercompany process and purchasing policy

  • Knowledge of intercompany returns process
