Intelisys, an Entrepreneur Magazine winner of the “Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America Award”, located in the North Bay, is looking for a Commission Data Specialist that can hit the ground running in a fun, competitive, fast-paced environment with room to grow and expand. POSITIONS AVAILABLE IN PETALUMA, CA / GREENVILLE, SC / SOUTHBURY, CT / DALLAS, TX / REMOTE

SUMMARY:

The Commissions Data Specialist is responsible for validating and standardizing the commission reports receives on monthly basis, for import into our commission system.  Confirms accuracy of gross commission and sales commission payments according to commission schedules and addendums.  Works closely with the Senior Commission Accountant on reports and processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 


  • Receives Supplier commission reports and reconfigures data into a comprehensive format to import into commission program

  • Receives commission inquiries from Commission Resolution Team and performs all necessary research to resolve each commission inquiry. This includes checking current & previous supplier provided commission reports, various internal databases, and supplier portals

  • Attends job related training, as well as, seminars that would enhance job performance

  • Performs other assigned tasks as required

  • Review and analyze commissions’ data for quality control on a monthly basis

  • Good data analysis skills with attention to detail

  • Meet and exceed assigned deadlines

  • Proficiency in working in fast-paced, complex, dynamic, multi-cultural business environment

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills in a fast paced environment

Key Working Relationships: Partners, Suppliers, Internal Colleagues, Sr. Commission Order Specialist, and Coordinator

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE & OTHER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

The preferred qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability necessary for an individual to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Reasonable amounts of training are provided. 


  • Positive attitude regardless of situation

  • Email and Office etiquette a plus

  • Proficiency in computer usage, the Internet and with the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel proficiency required)

  • Telecom Industry experience a plus

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work in a cooperative and team environment, as well as, the ability to work independently
