Hours: 7:00 am - 7:30 pm

Virginia Mason is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for our Neuroscience & Transplant Progressive Care Unit.The registered nursewill care for a highly acute patient population in a 3:1 ratio, including post-op craniotomies, complex spine surgeries, acute ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes and kidney and pancreas transplants.


The registered nurse provides high quality, skilled nursing services to assist patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status. Through collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals, the registered nurse prepares the patient and family for discharge to home or another setting for continued care.


Diseases and conditions of the brain and neurovascular system impact the very essence of who the patient is. Imagine being a part of the team responsible for helping a patient return to their highest level of functioning.

Qualifications:



  • A current and valid Washington State Registered Nurse License is required for this position.


  • CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work.


  • Other certifications may be required for specialty areas.


  • One year Acute Care, or Medical Surgical experience required.


  • Transplant and/orNeurology & Neurosurgery experience preferred.

  • BSN strongly preferred
