Special Process Auditor
Job Summary:
The Internal Auditor will conduct a variety of internal audits and offers process improvement solutions aimed at assisting the business goals and objectives. In this role you will develop audit findings, identify root causes, and offer recommendations on how to correct issues identified. The Internal Auditor will also develop corrective actions in coordination with the business system owners, prepare audit reports, follow up on corrective action plans, and perform closeout activities.
Major Responsibilities & Activities:
All Nadcap audits and updating / control of all Whitcraft special process procedures
Heat treat – TUS, SAT
Non-conventional machining
FPI
Welding
ESA
Hot form
Clean line
LAB
Eye tests, Material group certifications, annual training updates

Familiarity with blueprints, specifications and requirements for aerospace component manufacturing.
Minimum Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent.
2 + years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment and prior auditing experience.
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word reader required.
Training Requirements
Visual Quality System, PCS
Work Environment:
The employee will be working in a shop environment with moderate noise levels. Safety glasses required at all times.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; use hands, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Additional Comments:
Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques knowledge preferred.
