Cardno currently has an opportunity for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our America's Region IT Infrastructure team based in our Portland Oregon location. Your primary job functions will center around maintenance, administration, support of the Windows Domain, Servers and IT Systems used by Cardno in the operation of our business.
Specifically, your duties will include -
Working on a global infrastructure team managing the servers in a highly virtualized environment which provide Active Directory, File and Print, DNS, DHCP services.
Assisting in the management and operation of various supporting platforms such as Office365 for Exchange and Teams, security platforms like Forcepoint and Proofpoint.
Assisting in projects involving Azure - migrating the on-premise datacenter environment and existing file sharing services to the cloud.
To be successful you will have:
Demonstrated minimum five years' experience in a corporate Windows system administration role
Demonstrated experience in managing a multi-location environment
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019
Strong level of knowledge around VMware, AD/DNS/DHCP/DFS, web proxy gateways, email security gateways, O365/Exchange, Teams, etc.
Networking background a plus.
Customer focused approach to support and the ability to communicate effectively.
A self-starter attitude who applies individual initiative to get the job done
