Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) Manager - Delivery

Execute and deliver the HSE program throughout assigned geographic areas for all lines of business and serve as a technical resource to provide guidance on HSE policies/procedures, programs and for interpreting regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsible for continuously monitoring and identifying HSE evolution opportunities to enable Altice USA to achieve our strategic objectives while continuing to focus on the safety and health of our employees and maintaining HSE regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities


  • Establish working relationships with all business leaders to implement a foundational culture that continues to enable teams to perform at the highest levels inclusive of delivering a work environment with best in class safety results.

  • Develop strategic partnerships with people leaders to ensure Altice USA's safety culture is embedded as part of their collective day to day responsibility.


  • Work with all relevant business functions to roll out company-wide policies, programs and procedures.

  • Identify potential workplace hazards and partner with HSE Program and Policy Development team to conduct risk assessments and mitigation measures.

  • Monitor and analyze HSE performance to identify improvement opportunities and partner with HSE Program and Policy Development team to implement.

  • Conduct HSE training relative to regional and functional needs on policies, regulations and procedures.

  • Assist in day-to-day HSE issues that arise within their assigned areas, by working with local management to develop an action plan for resolution.

  • Assist in the identification of all city/town and state Health, Safety and Environmental requirements that are specific to their assigned areas.

  • Provide HSE Performance reporting on leading and lagging indicators.

  • Review and keep up to date with relevant health, safety and environmental codes.

  • Conduct HSE observations, inspections and audits to ensure compliance with fire/life safety, EPA and OSHA regulations and Corporate Standards.

  • Provide clarity of local town/city fire codes and applicability to Altice USA properties to ensure that all fire HSE standards are being maintained.

  • Perform HSE audits and site inspections relative to regional and functional needs.

  • Analyze incident reports, metrics and injury case studies to institute changes that lead to a safer environment.

  • Lead accident/incident Investigations, perform RCA (root cause analysis) and assign CAPA (corrective and preventive actions).




Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

  • Previous working experience in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) within the Utility or Telecom industry preferred.

  • Strong people skills, problem-solving abilities, empathy for others and a willingness to work together toward the common good.

  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite, Google workspace, or equivalent.

  • Excellent developmental and motivational techniques.

  • Good written, oral and communication skills.
