TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Person I to join our team in Olive Branch, MS
This position will locate to Olive Branch over the summer, but right now is located in Walnut MS
This role provides physical and analytical support to delivery TKE products to our customers.
Essential Functions
- Accurately Pulls, Packs, Ships, and Receives materials for all TKE and non TKE customers' orders
- Restocks material when primary locations have reached an insufficient stocking level
- Assembles kits for stocking purposes as required
- Bags materials for stocking purposes as required
- Responsible for performing weekly cycle count process and audits
- Contacts carriers via oral and written communication for pick-up of shipments
- Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly fashion according to 6S standards
- Perform the put away process
- Promote a safety conscience work environment
- Performs other job duties as may be assigned
What we look for
- Warehousing experience is a plus
- High School Diploma required
- Standard forklift operating experience is required
- Requires excellent dependability, the ability to multi-task and must work effectively without close supervision
- Demonstrated experience of working in a fast paced, high stress environment
- Preferred knowledge of elevator and escalator parts
- Requires lifting parts weighting up to 50 pounds; operates lift truck for moving heavier materials
- A proven record of consistent and fair enforcement of facility rules, policies, regulations
