We are currently hiring a Hub Support Industrial Lead at our CVG Hub in Erlanger, KY. The Lead Hub Support Agents are a crucial component to the success of DHL. The lead is involved in all aspects of the operation at the CVG Erlanger, KY Hub. This position requires excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, are detail oriented and a self-starter with a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Equipment operation of (Baling and compactor units, floor scrubber, road sweeper, fork lift, lawn mower, aircraft ground support equipment, etc.)


• General industrial cleaning duties in and around facility buildings, parking lots and around large sort systems to include pressure washing. Hub Support agents will be required to wear applicable personal protective equipment


• General industrial painting of ramp area, exterior and interior guarding


• Support winter weather events and snow removal process


• Support facility grounds for appearance


• Direct management of controlling day to day work assignments to Hub Support agents


• Support employee events on and off site


• Provides guidance, trains and mentors


• Administration assistance as needed 

Skills & Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age


• Must be able to pass a 10 year background check and a drug screen


• Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently and 70 lbs occasionally


• Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, stoop and climb


• Must be able to work in hot and cold environments to include inclement weather


• Must have a driver’s license with clean driving record  and qualify for Airport Ramp driving privileges                                                                                                                                         


• Will be required to wear safety toe boots at all times


• General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is a plus. Working knowledge of a (CMMS) computerized maintenance management systems (specifically Maximo) is a plus 

Must qualify for (winter operations) SWAT - Severe Weather Action Team

• Must be committed to work off schedule hours during assigned winter weather event (could be before or after your scheduled shift)


• Must have valid driver’s license with ramp driving


• Must be in good standing with the company (No open corrective actions)


• Failure to work when asked or needed, for multiple events will result in removal from the team and may be required to step down to an A3 position


• Must pass the required operational training course to operate a Bobcat 3650 utility vehicle 

In addition Hub Support agents could receive, sort and segregate incoming materials, parts, products, supplies and equipment for warehouse/distribution facilities. Loads and unloads materials on to or off of pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. Sorts and processes outgoing materials and cargo according to established procedures and regulations. Typical schedules include four 10 hour days work week 9:00pm - 7:00am, Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday. This schedule could be adjusted due to operational needs and/or weather and individuals must be flexible to work any shift to support 24x7 business unit.
