The Marketing Manager is responsible for the creation of strategy and execution for segments, routes or suppliers as assigned. The MM will work closely with the SVP and VP of marketing to understand assigned markets and proactively develop demand drivers to achieve revenue goals. They are also directly responsible for marketing enablement pieces, market strategy and program development for assignments.
Essential Job Duties:
Develop Marketing Pieces for the assigned space
Help new partners ramp their time to revenue by delivering tailored on-boarding programs for the assigned market(s).
Drive partner development through business/marketing planning and support.
Collaborates with all stakeholders to leverage best practices and ensure consistency across all marketing programs.
Deliver an integrated mix of high-impact programs, tools and communications aligned to business goals.
Manage partner communication content, vehicles and cadence to deliver consistent/relevant information to partners.
Develop and manage programmatic promotions, benefits and rewards with supplier partners.
Ensure Marketing readiness for respective product/solutions launches.
Develop and support co-marketing plans with suppliers for ongoing marketing development.
Marketing Strategy
Develop and manage the annual plan/budget for go-to-market activities.
Engage supplier services managers to establish and align business objectives for suppliers.
Write, create and execute strategic marketing plans to drive profitable company growth.
Own and report quarterly analytics and metrics for specific activities and programs.
Maintain competence of route/segment strategy, competitive knowledge and our industries.
Maintain appropriate touch points with Customers, Channels, and Suppliers.
Works with the director of channel marketing to evaluate key marketing vendors and onboard new relationships.
Reporting Relationships:
Reports to Director, Partner Enablement
Interfaces with Inty, ScanSource, Intelisys Sales, Marketing and Supplier Management
Interfaces with Marketing and other Business Leadership as required
Requirements:
BA in Marketing, related field of study or equivalent work experience
Proven success in collaborating and building relationships across/with-in teams (including peer-to-peer) to achieve desired results
Strong strategic planning skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Proven problem-solving capability
Preferred:
Experience in the technology distribution industry with relevant partners, suppliers or industry leaders
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit at a laptop for long periods of time.
Ability to travel <10% of the time, must be flexible and willing to travel occasionally to support the marketing and/or supplier organization
