Job Summary
The Senior Recruiter will be first point of contact between prospective candidates and the company. Through creative and proactive sourcing skills, the Senior Recruiter will partner with hiring managers to effectively provide full-cycle recruiting services to identify and hire key talent to Vistra Corp.Job Description
•Responsible for full life cycle recruiting, engaging with candidates from the screening phase through offer negotiation•Attract applicants by sourcing and posting jobs advertisements across various job boards and social media channels•Actively source qualified candidates using internet databases, social media, College Career Centers and employee referrals•Ability to recommend and execute ideas, strategies, and initiatives across the recruiting team and organizations•Act as a Strategic Business Partner to Hiring Managers on developing recruiting strategies, reporting on recruiting metrics, and driving continuous improvement•Conduct prescreening interviews and coordinate phone and onsite interviews acting as the liaison between candidate and staff at all stages of the process•Lead key recruiting initiatives from diversity and inclusion, employee branding and other programs•Ensures all recruiting practices are aligned with the company’s diversity and inclusion initiatives and maintains accurate records for reporting purposes.•Partner closely with IT and HR for onboarding new employees and establishing best practices•Strong analytical skills and ability to identify key metrics to be able to measure and scaleEducation, Experience, & Skill Requirements
•Minimum of five years of experience sourcing and recruiting in high volume environments•At least 2 years of experience recruiting for technical jobs •Experience with Workday or other Applicant Tracking Systems•Solid understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations•Highly skilled in building and managing relationships•Ability to manage moderate to moderately complex multiple projects and programs with successful outcomes•Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to deliver effective presentation to various audiences•High level of creative, critical thinking and decision-making skills to solve complex planning and business issues•Strong Computer skills, ability to learn new applications, and possess strong knowledge of social media and branding.•Minimum education requirements is HS DiplomaKey Metrics
