Job Description:

As a Software Engineer at Kount, you will solve challenging technology problems and build architecturally sound, high-quality software. You will be part of a talented team responsible for maintaining Kount’s command platform alongside new feature development which impacts thousands of customers worldwide.

What you’ll do:  

• Collaborate with the product team, architects, to all phases of product development and delivery from Analysis & Design all the way through to successful deployment.




• Participate in peer design and code reviews.




• Innovations that add value to Kount and move the IT organization forward.




• Raise technology and team standards through open lines of communication, self-discipline, and thoughtful analysis.

Qualifications:

• 4 years + maturity and expertise in software engineering concepts (i.e., architecture, data , background in languages such as PHP,Java or Go. PHP is highly desired.




• Structures, algorithms, etc. and maintain a focus on quality.




• Experience in Linux and UNIX tools/utilities.




• Experience with distributed systems, relational databases (Oracle), and NoSQL preferred. 




• B.S or MS in Computer Science or Engineering degree is preferred.
