The Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of the rooms division including Front Office, Housekeeping and Security. We seek a talented professional that can effectively recruit, train, manage and motivate our associates, achieve exceptional guest service, and adhere to all Shaner and Marriott brand standards. This leadership position will participate in the MOD (Manager on Duty) program and will report to the General Manager.
The ideal candidate will have previous hotel, front office, and management experience and will work efficiently in a multi-task environment with numerous departments. Previous franchise experience is strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. The Operations Manager must have the ability to analyze a situation and develop action plans, improve service and implement appropriate steps proactively; resolve customer concerns quickly and amicably. The position requires effective time management, outstanding people management skills, strong guest service and communication skills. Ability to provide excellent written and verbal communication. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
