Job Description:

Boasso Global, a premier intermodal service company, providing transportation and tank container services, is seeking a skilled ISO Tank Container Mechanic to support operations at our Cincinnati, OH terminal.

The essential functions of the job include (but are not limited to):

• Repairing and maintaining ISO tank containers using hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, and precision measuring tools


• Testing instruments by observing and listening to mechanical devices to diagnose causes of mechanical issues


• Repairing and replacing defective parts


• Inspecting and adjusting used parts


• Lubricating and cleaning parts


• Operating lathe, drill press, grinders, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts


• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• At least 1 year as a mechanic


• At least 1 year experience in an Industrial setting 


• Must be able to wear a respirator


• Must be comfortable with heights to be on top of tanks and in enclosed spaces inside of tanks

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
