THE OPPORTUNITY:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Labor and Employment Associate with 3+ years of experience for our Seattle office.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

As an associate in the Labor & Employment Department, you'll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys.

YOU HAVE:


  • 3+ years of employment law experience, working with partner oversight on litigation of single-plaintiff matters and agency charges



  • Other areas of expected experience: Caselaw/statutory research, brief/motion drafting, investigations, policy review, employment counseling, and training



  • Traditional labor background and basic familiarity a plus (but not required)



  • Excellent academic credentials and solid work ethic



  • Stellar analytical skills and strong verbal and written communication skills



  • Ability to manage multiple matters (litigation, charges, research, etc.) simultaneously



  • Experience and understanding of Washington federal, state, and local court rules



  • Admission to the Washington Bar (required), Oregon Bar admission a plus
