Otter Products is looking for a Product Category Vice President for our Mobile Gaming business unit.
The Product Category Vice President will have overall responsibility for our Mobile Gaming business unit with P&L responsibilities including profitability, team management, budgeting and business unit strategy. This role will develop and implement an approved strategic business/growth plan for this specific product category. The Product Category Vice President will manage a team of direct and indirect reports and will model servant leadership in day-to-day interactions.
The Product Category Vice President must have the ability to build and inspire a strong team of people. This individual must be flexible and adaptable to change. We are looking for someone who has the ability to think outside the box in a fast paced, continuously changing environment.

Responsibilities
Responsible for overall profitability for the Mobile Gaming business unit
Direct P&L responsibilities, budgets and focus on operational execution and cost control
Strategy creation for Global Sales (go-to-market plans), Marketing and Product Development
Create a portfolio of programs and products to attract, engage and convert prospective customers and consumers
Develop short and long-term strategic plans for advancing business unit products to meet market demands within the area of responsibility
Identify and develop product extensions of the brand and provide sound recommendations on which products the business unit should pursue with the intent of driving revenue and profitability
Create and continuously develop business model solutions and product differentiators based on data-driven insights
Define ideal buyers, and market segments to optimize profitable revenue growth for the business unit
Support the establishment, building, and maintenance of existing and new key channel relationships
Assess the external competitive landscape and the industry dynamics that are pertinent to the business unit, and develop strategic plans in response to those dynamics
Work with Finance and Sales to create sales projections and set objectives for assigned business unit products
Coordinate product management with Sales and Marketing
Ensure alignment across Global Sales and Marketing through PM, and PLM team members to develop, sell and deliver product to customers in a profitable way.
Partner with Supply Chain and Engineering to drive improvements to product features and go-to-market timing.
Partner with industry experts to predict trends and product opportunities in the market
Architect and drive the product strategy including development of category framework, value propositions, positioning and pricing
Create multi-year solution roadmap(s) for the segment including opportunities for innovation
Work independently and cross functionally (internal shared resources) within the organization to achieve business unit goals
Guide cross-functional teams to develop and implement the key business strategies.
Demonstrate a passion for financial leadership by acquiring technical knowledge and strong financial acumen.
Support and maintain a positive safety culture by being an active leader in all safety program initiatives

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
Minimum ten years of broad business experience including strong knowledge of sales, product development, operations, and engineering required.
Minimum of five years in a people leadership role required.
Minimum three years of experience working in the gaming industry strongly preferred.
Experience using SalesForce CRM preferred.
Experience in a Matrix organization or a subsidiary of a larger company.
Strong business and financial acumen including P&L ownership.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work long hours and travel.
