The Expert Software Engineer will help build the Next Gen Applications Suite. Along with writing effective code, the position willbe responsible for designing, building, delivering and maintaining a highly scalable set applications and products. The incumbentwill use industry best practices and work collaboratively with cross-functional team of product managers, UX designers,architects, software engineers, test and DevOps engineers.

Leads architectural design, system analysis, and programming activities on application software; this mayoften require independent research and study.
Leads teams that develop high-quality and production-ready software by using best-practice datastructures, algorithms, design patterns, and frameworks that are maintainable, scalable, responsive, andsecure.
Champions writing highest quality code with utmost attention to scalability, security and performance andwith an end-to-end mindset from conception to delivery and production support, owning specifications,quality, release deployments and monitoring of production health.
Produces complete, simple, and readable technical documentation for everything developed and creates ateam culture of documenting everything.
Drives code-reviews, provides technical guidance and mentors software engineers.
Collaborates closely with Engineering leadership, Product Managers, Designers, QA and other teams andbusiness units to define, prioritize, sequence and scope business and functional requirements and driveresults.
Scopes effort, identifies risks and clearly communicates trade-offs with team members and otherstakeholders.
Foresees and assesses impact assessment of product (hardware, software) upgrades.
Assists in planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects.
Supports and collaborates with other Engineers through evaluation, design analysis, and developmentphases.
Maintains knowledge, ensures competency and compliance with policies and procedures, in order to bethe technical expert while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What we look for:
7+ years of experience designing and developing high performing and secure applications along with a Bachelor's degree.
Expert level knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Responsive web design, Accessibility (WCAG 2.0 AA).
Advanced level knowledge of JavaScript Programming.
3+ years of extensive experience building production application with ReactJS.
3+ years of experience building production application with Node.js.
2+ years of extensive experience in CSS preprocessors like Sass or Less.
Strong experience building responsive Single Page Web Applications.
Good understanding of design principles to build a scalable applications.
Advocate, advise, and implement user-centered design, mobile first methodology, progressive enhancement and graceful degradation, accessibility, SEO, responsive design, and website performance.
Proficiency with Chrome and/or other browser Developer Tools.
Proficiency with Git/Github or other distributed version control systems.
Experience with Scrum, Agile Process.
Proficiency writing unit test case using any of the testing framework like Jest, Enzyme, or Jasmin is preferred.
Experience working with Java or Java applications is also highly preferred.
Knowledge of current trends and best practices enabling sound technology choices and strategic decisions.
Spearheads the development of innovative approaches to detect, respond to, and eradicate tech debt,anti-patterns and advance threats.
Ability to research and apply innovative methodologies, latest industry trends, design patterns.
Recognizes underlying problems, opportunities, or the political forces affecting the organization.
Subject matter expert responsible for sharing expertise and insight with other engineers.
Identifies significant internal and external stakeholders and builds partnerships as part of an influencingstrategy.
Demonstrates mastery in their area of expertise and are recognized as an authority on it by their peers andleaders.
Evaluates and generates options that scan the entire spectrum of software reliability, ease of adoption,scalability, operational ease, and skillset availability.
