PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Function as the focal point for all operational/technical/support aspects of JICC RF and SATCOM systems


• Act as the technical expert for applicable JICC systems in various exercise planning and working groups


• Recommend solutions to operational comms challenges


• Produce and process Satellite Access Request (SAR) and Gateway Access Requests (GAR) as needed


• Work with local RF spectrum controllers to facilitate the needs of the JICC


• Provide technical and operational planning, system configuration and mission support


• Evaluate SATCOM components and integrates the same into proposed solutions


• Maintain inventory of all RF/SATCOM equipment


• Some travel required
