Otter Products is looking for a Vice President of Sales, North America!

The VP of Sales, North America is responsible for leading their sales team to meet and exceed sales goals by delivering not only revenue and profit objectives, but also successful entrance into new product categories. Primary duties include hiring, developing, structuring around opportunities, and managing members of the team to achieve success metrics. This role will use a CRM tool to create and track metrics to manage and guide the team. Success metrics include meeting and exceeding revenue and profit targets, selling new products into existing customers, and establishing new customers. This is a people leader role reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer. This individual will manage a team of direct and indirect reports and will model servant leadership in day-to-day interactions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales cycle and strategic planning, including forecasting and consumer or customer analytics. This individual must have knowledge of full business operations and strategy execution. Knowledge of the retail and carrier space in the U.S. and Canada is highly desirable. Strong communication skills are a must in this role as this individual will be responsible for Executive level communication and presentations along with communicating internally across Otter and externally with customers. Responsibilities

    Define an optimal sales team and sales support structure across the business to support growth.
  • Build plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's sales goals.

  • Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement.

  • Become known as an employer of choice and a sales force that top industry sales professionals want to join.

  • Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets and drive engagement.

  • Identify and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives.

  • Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required.

  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.

  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and key internal functions.

  • Collaborate across departments, and provide leadership that supports the company's culture, mission and values.

  • Work closely with the product category and marketing functions to establish successful support of the 4 P's.

  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Build a customer and channel strategy that leverages key trends and drives growth in new/existing markets.

  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.

  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships.

  • Manage the revenue and opportunity pipeline, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth.

  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by being an active leader in all safety program initiatives.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree required. Experience in lieu of may be considered. Degree in business or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of twelve years of Sales experience required.

  • Minimum of five years of experience in a manager or director level role with direct reports is required.

  • Experience building and managing a sales pipeline and opportunity funnel with SalesForce.

  • Experience in U.S. and Canada, supporting retail and carrier customers such as Walmart, Amazon, Best Buy, Target, AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Telus, Bell, Rogers preferred.

USD $182,307.00/Yr.

For US Based Roles Only - Compensation Range Maximum

USD $260,000.00/Yr.
