We are looking for a Contracts Manager to join our exciting growing team in Fort Collins, CO! The Contracts Manager will be responsible for working with the Director of Contracts in managing all aspects of Government contracts, pursuing new opportunities, and developing existing relationships with Government Contracting persons of contact.
Position Responsibilities
Administers contracts and subcontracts, including negotiation, correspondence, documentation, certification and financial reporting
Negotiates contract terms from proposal stage to project close-out in accordance with relevant regulations
Provides advice and interpretation of contract requirements
Reviews solicitation requests to ensure compliance with terms and conditions
Prepares and submits cost proposals including pricing and scheduling details, coordination of requirements, and cost proposal risk assessment
Prepares consulting agreements
Coordinates with program managers to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled
Reviews and approves subcontractor invoices
Maintains current knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices
Assist with FFP, CPFF and/or T&M pricing for RFP proposal efforts
Excellent understanding of government contracts laws and regulations specifically FAR and DFAR
Maintains all required contractual records in accordance with the contract requirements and company policies and procedures
Negotiates, drafts and administers moderately complex contracts, including but not limited to, teaming agreements, and subcontracting agreement
Provide advice and interpretation of contract requirements
Participate in special projects as required to optimize the contractual, financial, and business operations of the company
Job Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or a similar field or equivalent experience
At least 5 years of experience managing grants and contracts
Working knowledge of applicable regulations, including, but not necessarily limited to: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), etc.
Experience assisting with proposal preparation.
Must be available to travel 10-15% of the time
Must have a US security clearance or be able to obtain a US security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or a similar field or equivalent experience
Demonstrated experience managing multiple simultaneous tasks and competing priorities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
The salary pay range for this role can vary from $80,000 to $100,000 per year based on the selected individual's education and experience.
