Tetra Tech Inc. is currently seeking Lead Based Paint Risk Assessors throughout Texas to provide support on environmental projects specifically dealing with Lead Based Paint Inspections. Qualified individuals will be trained in Lead Based Paint Inspections by Tetra Tech.

This position will involve providing support in the areas of lead-based paint assessment. Members of the team are also responsible for the planning and oversight of operations and site health and safety.

Work will include multi-media sampling, field audits and inspections, organizing and reviewing data, preparing reports, contractor oversight, and related services.

The Ideal Candidate will have:


  • Bachelor's degree 1 yr. exp. in a related field (e.g. lead, asbestos, public health, environmental remediation work, or bldg. construction trades); OR
  • Associate's degree 2 yrs. exp. in a related field; OR
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) 3 yrs. experience in a related field; OR
  • Certification as an IH, PE, public health nurse, RS, CSP, architect, or environmental

  • Must successfully complete a Background Check and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Check

Must be highly motivated, customer focused, and work well in a team environment. Must also have the ability to manage a heavy workload, travel. Excellent communication, client interaction, and organizational skills, as well as proficiency with MS Office applications are required.
