Mary Anns Baking Company is currently searching for a skilled, energetic, and enthusiastic individual with passion for workplace safety, safety training and building a proactive safety culture, while coordinating workers compensation activity and our early return to work program.

As a Safety and Workers Compensation Associate, you aide our organization through a variety of safety initiatives utilizing your knowledge and passion for a safe and healthy workforce that will draw upon your creativity, experience, and common sense. You will also monitor our workers compensation claims activity, partnering with department managers and claims adjusters to ensure effective, treatment is provided while ensuring full participation in our early return to work program, through various modification to regular job assignments of our associates.

Examples of areas you will support include:

Worksite safety audits
Coordinating our employee safety events
Leading and assisting with weekly Safety topic training/discussions.
Conducting Monthly Employee Safety Committee meetings
Administering OSHA 300 logs
Assisting with Near Miss and Accident Investigations
Provide recommendations for change/improvements that improve our safety culture.
Develop Associate Safety Communications
Provide New Hire Safety training
File Injury claims with W/C carrier.
Respond to W/C carrier request for information.
Coordinate discussions and review requested accommodations for associates return to work.
Coordinate Early return to work/modified duty program.
