Systems and Software is looking for an energetic and driven Project Manager (PM) to join our Professional Services team! Utilizing industry best practices, methodologies and process controls the PM will be responsible for leading a project team to deliver enQuesta Customer Information System (CIS) solutions and associated value-added services to both new and existing customers, while delivering projects on schedule and on budget within defined scope requirements.
The Project Manager is responsible for managing the customer relationship during implementations and ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction. The PM is also responsible for project profitability, timely realization of revenue, and ensuring that they and the implementation team members maintain an expected level of billable utilization. The successful candidate will report to the Director, Professional Services.
What will be your impact?
Work closely with customer Project Managers to ensure successful completion of software implementation projects
Develop and execute project plans and monitor progress
Consistently manage customer expectations and ensure delivery of the highest quality software solution and customer service
Lead the project delivery, including managing the scope of the project while ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability
Manage change and risks to the project deliverables to reduce delays while limiting the impact on our customers and project timelines
Provide updates to management team and coworkers on customer/project status, proactively identifying issues and resolving or escalating as appropriate
Ensure projects conform to the established project management standards and processes
Lead and motivate internal project team to ensure the technical and functional consulting team members are fully utilized and focused on successful and efficient execution of the established project plan
Assist in overall scheduling and coordination of implementation resources
Participate in discovery sessions with our external customers and internal technical team to determine the As-Is and To-Be states of their systems
Conduct post implementation project reviews. Capture and apply lessons learned for continuous process improvement
Prepare monthly project status reports to management for project performance evaluation as required
Responsible for preparing and reporting project forecast and financials to management on an ongoing basis on all assigned projects
Responsible for working capital, ensuring that milestones and work in progress are approved according to contract acceptance criteria, invoiced on time, and paid in a timely manner
Perform project administration such as approval or routing of expenses, project time entry review, project plan updates, and invoice processing
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business or an associated discipline
5+ years of progressive Project management experience
Dynamic project leader with experience managing software implementation projects to multiple customers.
Possess a deep understanding of all activities associated with software system implementations
Possess strong negotiation, communication (written and verbal), and conflict management skills
Experience negotiating resources and deliverables within a matrix organization.
Possess relevant experience with contract negotiations and customer management
Possess superior presentation and planning capabilities
Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)
Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint

This opportunity can be performed remotely or from our office in Winooski, VT. Travel, depending on the project(s) could be as high as 50%.
