Position Overview/Summary

Citrix is looking for a growth-oriented, data-driven Demand Gen expert todevelop, execute, and continually optimize online and offline omni-channel demand plans that drive high quality leads, funnel performance and pipeline growth to meet business goals. This role will be responsible for orchestrating demand strategies and plans cross-functionally in a distributed global organization, working in partnership with field sales & marketing teams, digital and content marketing, brand, product marketing, partner marketing and marketing operations.

You know how to optimize plans across channels and effectively work across teams to drive cross-functional planning and execution to achieve goals. You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment where you are empowered to plan, execute, pivot and try again.

Responsibilities


  • Develop a firm understanding of the market opportunity, sales targets, and how to build a cohesive demand strategy and plan to achieve bookings, pipeline and growth goals

  • Develop a deep understanding of customers, products, target segments & audiences and how best to reach buyers throughout the customer journey

  • Develop comprehensive and integrated demand generation strategies and plans across online and offline channels to optimize funnel performance and increase pipeline contribution across multiple geographies

  • Engage with Field Marketing and Sales teams to understand regional dynamics and provide intelligence & guidance to drive optimal marketing mix, messaging and tactics for generating prospect and customer leads and accelerating funnel performance

  • Partner with Digital Marketing and Agency to develop cohesive demand and digital strategy and testing within inbound and outbound channels including but not limited to SEO, SEM, paid social, display, remarketing, outbound media, webinars, ABM, email marketing and nurtures

  • Manage plan execution and optimization of demand generation programs to drive high quality leads


  • Engage with Sales and Sales Enablement teams to create a consistent, repeatable plan to effectively enable sales for specific demand programs and lead qualification, manage lead progression and optimize conversion

  • Collaborate with Field teams, Product Marketing and Content teams to define content requirements to support lead generation efforts and ensure content plans are brought to life throughout buyer journey

  • Create a structured approach to drive consistency across the demand team and with the field marketing teams in the development of demand plans and performance reporting, along with timelines for key milestones to ensure timely delivery

  • Forecast, measure, analyze and report the impact of demand programs and campaigns on MQL, pipeline, bookings and funnel velocity

  • Leverage analytical and quantitative skills to interpret data, proactively identify performance trends, generate insights and translate it into actionable changes

  • Effectively communicate across the marketing organization to share demand plans, timelines, updates, processes and results, while also championing the Demand team and demonstrating our impact on the business

  • Act as a key stakeholder to identify opportunities to increase demand effectiveness and efficiency through marketing technologies and BI enhancements

Basic Qualifications


  • BA/BS or equivalent professional experience required

  • 12+ years progressive marketing experience, with 7+ years in B2B demand generation

  • Seasoned demand marketer with experience working with field and corporate teams in a distributed global marketing organization

  • Demonstrated track record of success meeting or exceeding lead and pipeline generation targets

  • Strong background in developing and executing demand generation strategies and plans to reach multiple audiences across channels

Preferred Qualifications


  • Understanding of the evolution of marketing best practices to be effective and relevant in a SaaS-based world

  • Knowledge of inbound and outbound marketing tactics with desire to learn, test and improve through innovative new approaches to marketing

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a changing environment, and lead and drive direction with cross-functional teams

  • Outstanding presentation skills, with ability to develop exceptional powerpoint presentations tailored to your target audience

  • Data-driven, analytical mindset to drive marketing insights and decisions

  • Business savvy individual who likes to stay abreast of emerging trends and marketing tactics

  • Attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience working in technology industry marketing a SaaS-based product highly preferred
