SUMMARY: 

To act as primary liaison between Emerson Professional Tools and Customers / Salesperson, End Users, members of our authorized independent service network on technical matters.  Will require some travel to assigned ASC’s to assure the highest level of service is maintained in the field.  Also coordinate preparation and production of product parts breakdowns and participate / facilitate both in house and virtual service training for new and existing AISC’s, as well as internal candidates.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following other duties may be assigned.


  •  65% or more = Finding & Providing a complete solution to internal and external customer questions via phone, email & live chat, regarding the proper application, operation, and service of the Professional Tools product line.
  • 35% or more = Participate in special assignments involving the technical aspects of the product line, including participating in new parts creation, reporting and driving resolution of product performance issues, facilitating service training, expediting parts backorders, and managing our relationship with members of our AISC network.

EDUCATION and /or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Graduate (College preferred but not required) 1to 3 years involvement in hard good products and / or service of such products.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Must be articulate with good communication / presentation skills

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • General calculation skills required. Ability to read micrometer and calipers.  Understanding of Metric system.

REASONING SKILLS

  • Must be “Hands On” individual with high mechanical aptitude to comprehend the function of the products and how these products or services meet our customer’s needs.
