In the world of learning – the effective use of visuals can decrease learning time, improve comprehension, enhance retrieval, and increase retention. Photos, vector graphics, illustrations and concept maps are just a few visual learning tools that can bring concepts to life and transform ideas into visually powerful learning content. With that in mind, Arch is seeking a creative and experienced Graphic Designer to join our Learning & Development team.
Responsibilities
Collaborate effectively with instructional design and development team
Develop the creative design and layout for graphics as required for online and print learning initiatives
Design and produce campaigns, print concepts, and web pages
Design presentations and print materials for use in workshops, events, training exercises, and learning forums
Assist in developing content for communication efforts to inform and engage about training offerings, training certifications, quarterly newsletter, etc.
Record, edit and produce video
Qualifications
Expert in the use of multimedia and industry standard graphics software programs such as Adobe's Creative Suite—including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
Expert knowledge of PowerPoint
Good working knowledge of front-end internet technologies such as HTML and XML
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communications skills
Detail oriented – able to quickly produce high quality deliverables
Collaborative personality, ability to work independently and in a team environment
