Entry-level: Juvenile Detention Officer Assistant ($3780-4595/month), Continuous Filing
Experienced: Juvenile Detention Officer ($4,208 - $5,115/month), Continuous Filing

The San Joaquin County Probation Department is seeking to fill several full-time and part-time vacancies in its Juvenile Detention Facility, a 24-hour operation. These positions require working rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, and working overtime. The shifts for the JDOA and JDO classifications are: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm; 9:00 am - 9:00 pm; and 6:00 pm - 6:00 am.

Candidates must participate in a mandatory orientation and successfully pass a background investigation, pre-employment physical and drug screen prior to employment.
